It has come to my attention that 'Here is Greenwood' was released onto DVD this past August. I point it out because, this is very likely one of the better anime one can get one's hands on.

It's also something that you will very likely be able to get normal people to watch as it's not about anything terribly far-fetched. Simply put; it's the story of an eccentric dorm at a boarding school in Japan. Not much of a cultural or subcultural hurtle to leap there.

And I warn you. It is a dramedy. It swings from touching to slapstick in the way only a story about teenagers can.

It's all been said before. But it does bear repeating, even if nothing changes no matter how many times you say it.
